TRANSLATION

Translation is an act of converting the meaning of a text from one language (the source) to another language (the target). The purpose of translation is to convey the original goal of a message, taking into account cultural and regional differences between source and target languages.

SUBTITLING

Subtitling is a complex process of adaptation and localization of spoken dialogues to a written code. There are two main types of subtitling intralingual and interlingual. Intralingual subtitling is subtitling done in the same language that is being spoken. On the other hand, interlingual subtitling is subtitling that is in a language besides the spoken one.

DIALOGUE AND CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING

Consecutive interpreting
The interpreter sits at the same table as the delegates or on the platform with the speaker. The contributor speaks for various lengths of time then stops to give the floor to the interpreter. The interpreter tasked with sections lasting 10, 15 or 20 minutes. The interpreter takes notes before translating the meaning. Clear understanding and a broad knowledge of the topic in the source and target languages are an indispensable part of professional interpretation.
Dialogue interpreting
Dialogue interpreting does not require any interpreting equipment. It can be carried out in case of an interview, work meeting or negotiations.
